Shows

A past BWS Member Show at Showers Plaza, in Bloomington.

The members of BWS are encouraged to show their art. At least yearly, BWS sponsors a Gallery Show in which members may display and sell their work.  Additional shows may be created to exhibit the works of signature members or for special programs in conjunction with other organizations.

As of 2021, BWS has been presenting virtual shows which may or may not be associated with physical gallery shows.  Bloomingtonwatercolor.smugmug.com will be a permanent spot to find works available for sale from our members.

Workshops

A workshop in progress

Each year BWS contracts with recognized art instructors to provide at least one workshop within that artist’s specific field.  Workshops are usually a day’s worth of instruction and practice. The price of the workshop is based on its length (one or more days), the artist’s compensation, the facilities required, and the supplies, if included.  More information about workshops currently available will be on a separate page listed to the right of this page.
